Nettie Sue Jenkins

Biography

Nettie Sue Hollingsworth Jenkins, age 82, of Italy, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab. She was born June 26, 1928 in Frost, TX to James Clint and Nettie Ethel (Pevehouse) Hollingsworth. She married Glenn Gilbert Jenkins on March 12, 1946 and was a longtime resident of Italy.

Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Boyd and husband Mike of Italy and Teresa Smart and husband Dennis of Midlothian; grandchildren, Chris Boyd, Brooke Boyd, Tessie Sloan and husband Andy, Glenn Perales, Britt Smart, Breeanna McGowan and husband Chad; three great grandchildren, Taylor Perales, Hallee Smart Perez and Caleb Smart; her dear best friend, Mary Boyd; one sister-in-law, Vivian and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn Jenkins; daughter, Glenda Richards; two brothers, Joe Dean Hollingsworth and James Hollingsworth.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy.

Funeral services will be 10AM Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy with Reverend Jim Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Italy Cemetery.
