Biography

Ann Foley, age 70, of Waxahachie, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital in DeSoto. She was born February 28, 1940 in Washington, DC to William Huffington Phillips, Jr. and Anna May Stamler Phillips. Ann retired from the V.A. Medical Center in Dallas after 20 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include two daughters, Dawn Foley and Kathy Foley both of Waxahachie; one son, Edward Foley Jr. and his wife Marianne of Cedar Hill; grandson, Nick Foley of Irving; granddaughter, Bridget Foley of Cedar Hill; great granddaughter, Cheyanne Foley of Cedar Hill; sister, Pat Butler and brother, Billy Phillips both of Maryland and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna May Phillips husband, Edward Foley, Sr.; son, Douglas Foley and sister, Shirley Shaffer.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 9 AM Friday, July 23, 2010 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at the Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The National Kidney Foundation of Texas, 5429 LBJ Freeway #630, Dallas, TX 75240.
