Biography

Lee V. Dickinson, age 79, of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010. He was born November 27, 1930 in Maypearl to Lonnie and Ethel Mae Dickinson. Lee retired from TU Electric after 33 years of service. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Dickinson and his wife Stacey of Dallas and David Dickinson of Austin; five grandchildren, Anna Dickinson, Elijah Dickinson, Shiloh Dickinson, Benton Jones and Rebecca Jones; brother, Jerry Dickinson of Lancaster;
brother-in-law, Bill Ham; sister-in-law, Janis Dickinson; son-in-law, Clark Jones of Houston and nephew, Ed Mayfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, his wife Patsy Dickinson and daughter Diane Jones.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 A.M. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Pastor David Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Waxahachie City Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
