Biography

John “Johnny” Prewitt of Ennis passed away on Friday, January 29, 2010 in Ennis. He was born in Dallas on August 9, 1961 to James and Yvonne (Hicks) Prewitt. He was a United States Marine and a member of the American Legion in Ennis.

He is survived by a son, Michael Prewitt of Ennis; a daughter, Laura Prewitt of Ennis; brothers, Kenneth Prewitt and his wife Nancy of Ennis, and Jackie Prewitt and his wife Tammy of Ennis; mother-in-law, Carolyn Russell of Houston; three brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; beloved family friend, Heather Dodson of Ennis.

Johnny is preceded in death by his wife Londa Prewitt.

Graveside service was held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis with Mr. Darryl Willis officiating.
