Biography

Gilvria “Gib” Lee Kelley, age 85, a loving father, grandfather and brother, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009. Gib was born May 23, 1924 the son of Julius Hobert and Allie Odessa Kelley. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was a longtime educator. He married Mary Sue Spear in 1951 and she preceded him in death in 2006 after 55 years of marriage. Gib was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lynn Haven, Florida.

Survivors include his children, Patrice Ross and her husband Larry, Lee Kelley and Abbie Bell and her husband Mark; grandchildren, Jill Bell Boswell, Arlene Bell, Tina Bell, Stuart Ross, Kelley Ross, Maggie Ross Glover and Andrew Ross; two brothers, Joe Mack Kelley and Billy Kelley and numerous family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Clayton Kelley and Cody B. Kelley.
