Biography

Dorothy Guthrie, age 84, of Italy, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie. She was born March 27, 1925 in Italy to Charles H. and Jennie (Wilhoit) Abbott. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Italy.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Jack Guthrie, Sr. of Italy; son, Jack Guthrie, Jr. of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Rodney Guthrie of Italy, Kellie Ramirez of San Antonio and Aaron Guthrie of Grand Prairie; great grandchildren, Justin Guthrie of Italy, Kayleigh Guthrie and Aaron Guthrie, Jr. both of Grand Prairie and Jacqueline Ramirez of San Antonio and one sister, Mildred Lewis of Terrell.

Pallbearers will be Eric Ramirez, Justin Guthrie, Justin Hicks, Jimmy Hicks, Randy Muirhead and Joseph Paiano.
